VENTURE Credit Union Education Committee’s Annual Youth Technology Camp 2024, Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators Today!

VENTURE Credit Union proudly reaffirms its dedication through its Education Committee’s ongoing commitment to developing future innovators. Over the past five (5) years, VENTURE Credit Union has focused on nurturing the next generation of tech enthusiasts and creators by hosting its annual Youth Technology Camp.

This year’s camp, held from Monday, July 15th to Friday, July 19th, 2024, welcomed over 47 enthusiastic young participants. Under the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators Today,” the camp offered hands-on training in Coding and Graphic Design, providing invaluable skills and inspiration to the youth.

The camp culminated in a Graduation Ceremony on Friday, July 19th, at the Holy Faith Convent Auditorium Couva. The event was attended by proud parents, VENTURE Credit Union’s Executive Management, Board members, and Education Committee representatives.

Mrs. DeNyssa Christom-Furlonge, Chairman of the Education Committee and Board Vice President, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their trust and support. “On behalf of VENTURE Credit Union, I want to thank the parents for entrusting their children to us. Our Education Committee remains steadfast in its mandate to offer valuable educational training and development opportunities. We encourage everyone to stay tuned for our upcoming events and initiatives for the rest of the year,” said Mrs. Christom-Furlonge.

As an educator herself, Mrs. Christom-Furlonge emphasized her enthusiasm for opportunities that allow young people to explore, create, and acquire new knowledge. “It’s always inspiring to witness our young participants express themselves and gain new skills,” she added.
