Please follow the steps below to open an account with VENTURE Credit Union and start enjoying the benefits of membership.

STEP 1: Download the Membership Form

  • Please download the editable PDF Membership Form here.
  • Important: This form must be printed double-sided.

STEP 2: Complete the Form

Print the form and fill it out at your earliest convenience.

STEP 3: Submit the Form

After completing and verifying all the information is accurate, bring it to your preferred VENTURE location (Couva, San Fernando or Arouca) along with the following documents:

  1. Two forms of Valid National ID.
  2. Letter of employment addressed to VENTURE Credit Union or To Whom It May Concern.
  3. For pensioners: supporting documents such as cheque stubs or NIS contribution.
  4. For self-employed person/business owners: certification of registration or incorporation.
  5. Pay Slip - no older than three (3) months old.
  6. Recent utility bill in your name such as water, electricity, telephone and/or cable, or a Bank Statement.
  7. If the utility bill is not in your name, the owner must authorize you to use the bill by completing the VENTURE Credit Union authorization letter and providing a copy of their valid ID. Please download the authorization letter template.
  8. A minimum of $40.00 ($20 for shares and $20 registration fee).

When you visit the branch to join, sign up for e-services to access our account anywhere, anytime.

Visit your nearest VENTURE Credit Union branch with the following documents:

1. Birth Certificate of the child.

2. A minimum of $40.00 ($20 for shares and $20 registration fee)

3. Two (2) valid picture IDs of the parent/guardian (National ID card, Driver’s Permit, Passport)

4. Letter of employment of the parent/guardian addressed to VENTURE Credit Union

  • For self-employed persons/business owners: Certification of registration or incorporation.
  • Pay Slip - no older than three (3) months old.

5. Recent utility bill in your name such as water, electricity, telephone and/or cable or a Bank Statement

  • For self-employed persons/business owners: Certification of registration or incorporation.
  • In cases of a utility bill not on your name, the owner of the bill must authorize you to use the bill by completing the VENTURE authorization letter and providing a copy of valid ID

*The parent/guardian must be present to register the child.

*Proof of legal guardianship is required if not parent
