Cole holds an Advanced degree in Applied Economics and Statistics and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Manitoba. He is also a Certified Financial Planner and has a Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Cole has over twenty years consulting and executive experience in the financial services sector and has held senior management positions and served as a member of the Board of Directors with several financial institutions in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean region. He is a strategic thinker who is proficient in Market Development and Risk Management and Controls.
As a consultant he has successfully raised funds for business ventures in the commercial and capital markets and provided management support and advice to small and medium sized businesses. He has provided trainer/facilitator services to the Cooperative Credit Union league of Trinidad and Tobago in the areas of Credit Appraisal Techniques, Delinquency Control and Management, Personal Financial Planning and Financial Counselling.
He was also a lead consultant with the Central Finance Facility which operates as a financial intermediary for member units of the Credit union movement and has also served as the Moderator for Commercial Lending for the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Banking and Finance for several years.
Mr. Patrick currently serves as the Chairman of the Transformation Committee.
